Hello, Everyone. We know these tariff changes are creating a lot of worry, and we wanted to say we're feeling it too, and share some insight into making products domestically. While we're fortunate to make our metal gift-ware here in the USA, we totally get that's not the reality for many, and we deeply respect the global nature of our creative community. Even though our production is based in the USA, we appreciate how interconnected we all are in this industry.
Making things in the US is not isolated from local and global challenges, and we've been forced to source the things we need from beyond our borders. For example, when our US based mold-making supplier closed up shop after 75 years, we had to start getting the material from Canada. Our knife blades come all the way from England now, since there aren't any US suppliers anymore. Even though we're super committed to keeping things as local as possible, the truth is, the tools and materials we use come from all over the globe. Over the years we've seen so many of our local vendors and manufacturing partners close, and we've made many changes along the way to weather the shifting tides. We know many of you have shopped with us for years for meaningful gifts for the people you love, and we'll do our absolute best to keep prices stable, so you have one less thing to think about.
