Latest Buzz: the beehive handmade journal

In addition to usual stresses and joys, this Holiday season brought us a couple of really bad colds, that seemed to go on and on. In fact, our whole Beehive team was down for Christmas. Jim found a silver lining in having the sniffles for a couple of weeks - perfecting his hot toddy recipe.

We used our tea infuser and scoop to infuse hot water with a soothing blend of cloves, herbs, and cinnamon. Our favorite blends are Orange Clove and Lemon Ginger, by our friends at Oliver Pluff. Steep ingredients for five minutes, add 1.5 ounces of whisky and one teaspoon of honey, and you've got a delicious winter warmer, so good it's almost worth having a cold. This classic cocktail is perfect for unwinding after a long day or for soothing a sore throat.
