Our unique, heirloom-quality bird measuring spoons come perched on a copper display rack, ready to brighten up your kitchen! Inspired by vintage kitchenware, we designed these spoons to be sturdy and functional as well as beautiful. This lovely set makes a perfect wedding or housewarming gift, or stylish addition to your own kitchen.

These four standard measures are hand cast from lead free pewter in our original molds. The copper and pewter display rack is hand-soldered and includes the hardware (screws) you'll need to hang it on your wall. Each set comes beautifully packaged in a kraft-colored gift box. Please hand wash these spoons to keep them looking their best!

Measurements are engraved on each spoon. This set includes one tablespoon, one teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, and 1/4 teaspoon. The largest spoon is 6 inches (15.25 cm) long and the rack measures 8.5 inches (21.5 cm).

Functional, adorable, exquisitely-made art

My “birds” were a gift to me about 20 years ago. I use them nearly everyday and just love them. They are adorable & functional. So imagine my horror when the garbage disposal tried to eat one of them! But fear not, an email to Beehive was answered the same day with great news - I could order a new spoon! Of course, the new one was perfect. So when it happened again, I didn’t panic. I just ordered a new one. So in summary

Treated Myself!

I’ve wanted this for a long time but it’s hard for me to justify the purchase for myself. I won some cash at a work party a few years ago and bought them. Love them as much as I thought I would!

I love these spoons! I have bought 5 sets so far. I love functional art and I bought a set each for my two sisters and now for our son’s new house. My only suggestion is that the slot for the spoons be a bit deeper so the spoons don’t accidentally fall. My son just got a 3D printer and is going to work on a new piece so the spoons don’t tend to fall so easily.
